Lord Henderson (1891-1984) was the second son of former Labour Party leader, Arthur Henderson. He had been born William Watson Henderson, and was MP for Enfield 1923-24 and 1929-31.  He served in the Attlee government as a whip in the House of Lords and also as joint Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, 1948-51.
